Tommy Roberts jr. Walks 700 kilometers to Berlin
In August 2005 TJ and his Dad decided: We walk from Kempten to Berlin – for a job. In their backs: A lot of impotant awards and many fans, but (or just because of this): The new CD have to become much more better! And not with the contract offers, which would have wanted Tommy to do something else as what he already did with the age of eleven – with his love for the American music.
After six weeks and 700 kilometers the two want to ring at Universal Music in order to take their business philosophy with the words: “We have to and we want to create new basic conditions, in order to concentrate on that for what we stand for: Music. More then ever before we should set on young artists, who give new impulses to the music. Future is done. And we do this now

Sunday, 25th, 2005, 6:40 pm – nearby PöttmesWe hope you had a such a great weekend like we had. Today we had a visit from the Harley reserved table for the regulars from Sonthofen and some friends from Augsburg. Mum cooked a great meal, chicken in an italien style with potatos and vegetables, and we enjoyed that beautiful autumn day with friends. We got to know the major of Handzell Mr Hans Schmuttermeier, who signed in our guestbook and wished us luck and success. We want to say thank you for the support to the members from the ASV Mandlachsee. If you read this we will be on the road again, but we are pleased about all the new acquaintances this week and our new adventures on our march. We wish you a nice start for the week! “Turn your face to the sun, and you leave the shadows behind you.” African proverb The first week is over
Friday, September 23rd, 2005, 09:10 pm – Pöttmesand that is good! Today we had a beautiful Indian Summer Day with nearly 28°C. Our consumption on soft drinks by Krumbacher was as well as the consumption of the Ferrari of Michael Schumacher (without counting the Augustiner Beer this night). Our today´s distance was 28 kilometers, and I felt like in a movie “The feet bring you everywhere”. In front of us the weekend and Mum´s great dinners took us away, and now we sit at the shoreline of the Lake Mandlach nearby Pöttmes and we are very proud that we survived the first week. We are pleased for the weekend, a break for two days and feet treatment, in th end we can count our blisters (without being anxious to get new one), do our laundry and reorganise that big Hymer RV. We wish you a lot of sun – “The luck is based on the decision of being lucky.” Lawrence Durrell The fourth day – No end in sight
Thursday, September 22nd , 2005, 07:36 pm – Augsburg NorthHello everybody – I don´t want you to bother with our pain and our blisters anymore, because I think this situation will be continue until we arrive Berlin. So we don`t write an introduction to be unlucky – just the real opposite of this. Today our part was absolutly great. On our stage from Großaitingen to Augsburg we went on a cycle track along the creek Wertach. Pure nature, this feeling was like discovering a new world, you can collect a lot of impressions about plants, trees, lakes and wood, and now at this moment we are able to descide which truck need Diesel and which need Biodiesel (it smells like the deep fryer in a Fast Food Restaurant). Perhaps I will be a scout (with the navigator of Kevin in my hands) or be able to read signs, e.g. this strange white line, that we always follow. Dad says, that this is called roadway marking...hahaha... Allright, just taking a shower now and don´t lose your dreams. Your TJ |
